Last updated: September 3, 2026. This policy explains what we collect, what we deliberately never collect, and how your data is protected.
When you transcribe a recording, the file is streamed directly from your browser to our transcription engine over a secure connection using a single-use token. The audio is never uploaded to, processed by, or stored on our servers.
Transcripts are encrypted in your browser before they are saved. Our servers store only ciphertext and can never read your transcripts, translations, or meeting minutes.
When you share a transcript with your organization, the encryption key is re-wrapped for each recipient in your browser. Only the people you explicitly share with can decrypt it.
Account information: your name and email address, managed through our authentication provider, used to sign you in and to communicate with you about your account.
Job metadata: file names, durations, languages, timestamps, and processing status, so we can show your job history and enforce plan limits.
Billing information: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we keep only your subscription status and invoice history.
We rely on a small number of processors to run the service: a speech-to-text provider (receives your audio stream directly from your browser), an AI provider (receives transcript text you explicitly send for minutes or translation, and does not train on it), an authentication provider, a database host (stores ciphertext only), and a payment processor.
Your encrypted transcripts remain available until you delete them. Deleting a transcript or your account permanently removes the associated data from our systems.
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at the address below.
